blessings to my body

blessings to this body that walks me up the hills

blessings to this body that sees the sunrise

blessings to this body that magically forms these words by dancing over these plastic squares

blessings to this body that gets rid of waste

blessings to this body that takes in nourishment

blessings to this body that lets me sleep and wanders in its' sleeping through places unknown

blessings to this body that replaces itself and knows how

blessings to this body that circulates, replicates, ennervates, salivates.

blessings to this body that creates life and celebrates the passing of the possiblity of life so redly.

blessings to the pleasures of this body.

blessings to the pain of this body.

she has loved me well.

it is unimaginable....

that at the same time as i wrote that post,
that i was so wowed by the wonderful world i live in,
the joy in the richness of life,
seeing the smallest things shining and reverberating in beauty...

it is unimaginable that on the other side of the world there would be a life coming to a close that seems too early

I live in the trust that persuing my bliss
sends waves of bliss around the world
where they lodge in the nooks and crannies of sad and lonely hearts

I hope that in her passing, FeirceJenn is now with love
that that spark of bliss that so filled my heart yesterday
is where she lives.

RIP Feircepeoples, Feircifer, Jenn.

blessings of details

my blessings are many

my trials are few

some dark days i find it hard to hold onto these perspectives

but as i swim

the water is cold, the darkness beneath me is full of an ominous hard to resist downward pull

but i resist

and some days that resistance is all i can do

and i see those small things - like the thrush on the grass, or the patch of daisies, both of them being so beautiful, so complete, so whole, so achingly perfect

that the balance shifts and i feel more able to resist...
